What made you move to Staq?

Starting out as a small digital marketing agency, we had to manually monitor and manage our client projects separately. Due to our rapid growth, our agency reached a critical point of expanding the team and needing a much more robust way of running our operations, which pushed us to make the big move to Staq.

What was the challenge and frustrations you went through internally inside the business?

The biggest issue was the fragmentation of the overall process. Because we had to use different platforms between building, hosting, and managing, it was hard to develop and manage projects with a holistic view. Client and project management was the biggest challenge for us and Staq has helped us centralise all of our processes, allowing the team to work on bigger projects, with multiple processes happening simultaneously.

What feature do you love in Staq?

There is more than one. First of all, a fully centralised dashboard overview of all of our projects, with the bonus feature of having a dynamic filter that allows us to identify certain type of sites very quickly (this is particularly important as our business and our client numbers have grown rapidly). Secondly, the fact that we can manage plugins for our website as a global or website-based feature, allows us to save time when updating and managing them, while also being able to quickly identify which sites have plugins that are presenting issues. Finally, the fact that the Go Live process is fully automated from the website hosting end of things, gives us certainty on how long it will take us to go live, giving peace of mind to both our team and our clients, whether they are managing their DNS records within Staq or with their domain host.

What client success stories do you have?

While we have plenty of projects that have taken advantage of what Staq has to offer, the most important one is our own. LINK consists of 5 businesses under the same brand (Link Pixel, Link Advisors, Link Books, Link Advance and Link Living) and we went through a full rebrand. We took it as an opportunity to rebuild all of our internal websites using the tools made available to us by Staq. Not only was the end result was so good that we proudly showcase them during our initial discovery meetings with prospective clients, we also use them as platforms to push the envelope in terms of website design and development, as most of our business development is based on online lead generation. We rely on a website that speaks greatly of who we are.

Has the development and deployment of your WordPress builds improved because of Staq?

Absolutely! We consider ourselves very lucky to be one of the first agencies to start using Staq. We have seen it grow over the years, getting even better features as time goes by.
