However, overtime, you may find that plugins are no longer Global Plugins, or you&#8217;ve migrating many sites to Staq and wish to take advantage of Global Plugins feature. That&#8217;s where this converter feature kicks.<\/p>\n<p>Essentially, it converts &#8220;website managed&#8221; plugins into Staq Global Plugins with a single click.<\/p>\n<p>Below is a tutorial to get started.<\/p>\n<h2>Solution<\/h2>\n<h3>Step 1<\/h3>\n<p>Firstly, this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wpstaq.com\/knowledgebase\/how-to-use-global-plugins-to-manage-plugins-at-scale\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Global Plugins<\/a>\/Theme guide is a great way to understand how the process works.<\/p>\n<h3>Step 2<\/h3>\n<p>If you wish to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wpstaq.com\/knowledgebase\/how-to-update-plugins-across-all-sites-globally\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">install or update a Global\/Theme Plugin<\/a>, this guide is a great way to understand how to do this.<\/p>\n<h3>Step 3<\/h3>\n<p>Once you have the Global Plugin or Theme setup, you&#8217;ll want to go to that plugin and click the dropdown menu and click\u00a0<strong>Convert:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-28577\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wpstaq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Convert-1024x342.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"342\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Step 4<\/h3>\n<p>It should open a screen with all your sites that have this particular plugin. From there, you can see the installed version and decide which sites to Convert.
