WP Mail SMTP Pro adds the Pro mailer, including logging. Where the license goes depends on how the website sends mail.<\/p>\n

Enter the license on Global SMTP<\/h2>\n

Use this when the website sends mail with Global SMTP. The license field is on that settings page.<\/p>\n

  1. Go to Global Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Stay on Website Defaults<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. Click SMTP<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  4. Under WP Mail SMTP Pro<\/strong>, enter License key<\/strong>. That key is only for the Pro plugin.<\/li>\n
  5. Click Save Changes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Use SendGrid without that license<\/h2>\n

    If the website uses SendGrid instead of Global SMTP, do not put the license on SMTP Settings. Install WP Mail SMTP Pro so Staq can see the plugin. See SendGrid<\/a>.<\/p>\n

    1. Go to Global Plugins<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    2. Find WP Mail SMTP<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    3. Turn on Must Install<\/strong>. New websites get that plugin. Staq can then see it.<\/li>\n
    4. Must Install will add the plugin to websites you already have. On those sites, install WP Mail SMTP Pro from the website Plugins page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Is this Clients Custom SMTP?<\/h3>\n

      No. Clients Custom SMTP sends invoices and reports. This is WordPress mail i.e. when someone fills out a form, the recipient receives the email notification.<\/p>\n

      Where is the license if I use Global SMTP?<\/h3>\n

      On Global Settings<\/strong> \u2192 SMTP<\/strong>, in WP Mail SMTP Pro<\/strong>. The mail server itself is SMTP for WordPress<\/a>.<\/p>\n
