Use this when a client needs a new card for the payments you charge them. Staq shows the brand, the last four digits, and the expiry. Stripe keeps the full card number.<\/p>\n

Open Credit Cards<\/h2>\n

  1. Go to Clients<\/strong>, then Billing<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Find the client and open the row menu.<\/li>\n
  3. Click Credit Cards<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Add a new card<\/h2>\n

    1. Click Add New Card<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Enter the card<\/h2>\n
        \n
      1. Enter the card number, expiry date, and CVC.<\/li>\n
      2. Tick Default<\/strong> if this is the card you want to charge.<\/li>\n
      3. Tick I have read and accept the billing terms<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      4. Click Add Card<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Let the client add the card<\/h2>\n

        The client can enter the card from a secure link. Open the client row menu on Clients, then Billing.<\/p>\n

        1. Click Copy Profile Setup Link<\/strong> and send that link to the client.<\/li>\n
        2. Or click Send Setup Reminder<\/strong>. Staq emails the client the same link.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          When you add a client, the popup includes Send profile setup email<\/strong>. If that is checked, the client gets the same email. See How to create a client and request for credit card details<\/a>.<\/p>\n
