Using the Staq interface, you can take a site live in just a few clicks.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>GoLive<\/h2>\n<p>To begin, go to the site&#8217;s Staq Panel and click <strong>GoLive<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wpstaq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/1-GOLIVE-1024x569.png\" alt=\"GoLive Button\" width=\"1024\" height=\"569\" \/><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Step 1: DNS Selection<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wpstaq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/DNS-Options-1024x550.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Staq provides three DNS options:<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Staq DNS<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Centralize your DNS management with Staq DNS, powered by AWS Route53.<\/li>\n<li>Choose an existing DNS Zone or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wpstaq.com\/knowledgebase\/dns-location-and-how-to-add-a-dns-entry\/\">set up Staq DNS<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Cloudflare<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Connect your Cloudflare account via API to enable automated SSL, proxy, and optimal settings.<\/li>\n<li>Follow the prompts or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wpstaq.com\/knowledgebase\/integrating-cloudflare-with-staq\/\">see detailed instructions<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wpstaq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/cloudflare-staq-GoLive.png\" alt=\"Cloudflare Connection\" width=\"764\" height=\"416\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Third-Party DNS<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Keep your existing DNS provider, and Staq will provide A record details.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Step 2: DNS Configuration<\/h2>\n<p>Set your domain as <strong>Primary<\/strong> and ensure your DNS points to Staq. If the <strong>WWW<\/strong> version is indexed, make that the Primary domain.<\/p>\n<p>If using Staq DNS, the changes are applied automatically. For Cloudflare or third-party DNS, update the A records manually.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wpstaq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/9-Save-Next.png\" alt=\"DNS Setup\" width=\"1020\" height=\"663\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To delay propagation, select <strong>Delay Propagation<\/strong> and click <strong>Save<\/strong> to proceed.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Step 3: SSL Certificate<\/h2>\n<h3>SSL Generation<\/h3>\n<p>Click <strong>Install Free Certificates<\/strong> to generate the SSL:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wpstaq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/2-Install-SSL.png\" alt=\"Install SSL Certificates\" width=\"1037\" height=\"414\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If your A record TTL are set really low i.e. 5mins, it should generate within the first one or two attempts. If it fails, retry up to 5 times. Successful SSL generation will display all domains covered.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wpstaq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/3-SSL-Generation.png\" alt=\"SSL Generation Complete\" width=\"1010\" height=\"728\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Troubleshooting SSL Issues<\/h3>\n<p>If SSL fails, common reasons include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High TTL settings in DNS (set TTL to 5 minutes to avoid issue).<\/li>\n<li>DNS changes haven\u2019t propagated yet.<\/li>\n<li>Domains inside Staq Panel &gt; Domains do not match the entries inside the DNS, including IP address<\/li>\n<li>You have 2x or more A records for the root and www entries<\/li>\n<li>AAAA records exist for the root domain and www entries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Step 4: Database Configuration<\/h2>\n<h3>DB Search &amp; Replace<\/h3>\n<p>The GoLive process will automatically replace the database entries from development URLs to production URLs.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wpstaq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/4-Search-Replace-DB.png\" alt=\"DB Search &amp; Replace\" width=\"970\" height=\"376\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Other Configurations<\/h3>\n<p>Staq will also:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Complete server configurations.<\/li>\n<li>Remove <strong>no-follow<\/strong> attributes to ensure search engines can index the website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Step 5: SMTP Setup<\/h2>\n<h3>WP Mail SMTP<\/h3>\n<p>The GoLive process can install and activate WP Mail SMTP automatically.
