If you haven&#8217;t enabled Next-Gen CDN, please see instructions on how to deploy a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wpstaq.com\/knowledgebase\/enable-next-gen-cdn-instructions\">reverse proxy CDN for WordPress<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Google Chrome<\/h2>\n<p>In order to view the response header messages inside Google Chrome, please follow the following steps below:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>open the website in <strong>Incognito mode<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>right click and click\u00a0<strong>Inspect<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Network<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>You may need to refresh the website again. Click on the first entry which should be the domain name<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><strong>Miss from CloudFront<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>If <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">x-cache<\/span> shows as <strong>Miss from cloudfront<\/strong>, this means that the page was loaded from the server. Refresh the website again and go to the next heading of this article.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10158\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wpstaq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/1-Miss-from-cloudfront.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"935\" height=\"689\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Hit from CloudFront<\/h2>\n<p>After refreshing, does x-cache show\u00a0<strong>Hit from cloudfront<\/strong>? If so, that means your website, together with the assets are being served from AWS CloudFront.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-10164\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wpstaq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/2-Hit-from-cloudfront.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"929\" height=\"706\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>How to preload everything to AWS CloudFront<\/h2>\n<p>In order to always see\u00a0<strong>Hit from cloudfront<\/strong>, you can preload site cache which caches the site using the Staq caching tool and pushes the files to CloudFront:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10176\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wpstaq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/preload-cache.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"704\" height=\"623\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Viewing Logs<\/h2>\n<p>Under <strong>Staq Hosting<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Next-Gen CDN<\/strong>, you can view logs. For example, if you create or update a page, Staq will detect this change and will automatically clear the cache in CloudFront.
