This knowledge base article explains how to navigate these limitations and provides solutions for utilizing Cloudflare proxy with Staq hosting.<\/p>\n<h2>Can I Use Cloudflare Proxy with Staq?<\/h2>\n<p>Yes, provided that you follow our guide on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wpstaq.com\/knowledgebase\/integrating-cloudflare-with-staq\/\">how to integrate Cloudflare<\/a> with Staq.<\/p>\n<p>If you cannot generate an API token inside Cloudflare, then, please follow the guide below.<\/p>\n<h2>When you cannot access the Cloudflare API token<\/h2>\n<p>If you do not hold user privilege to generate an API token inside Cloudflare, but you wish to enable the proxy feature of Cloudflare, there&#8217;s two scenarios that you can apply.<\/p>\n<h3>Manually toggle on and off proxy for SSL to generate<\/h3>\n<p>By default, Staq uses LetsEncrypt for SSL certificates. It auto-renews every 3 months. Before it expires by 3 days, disable proxy, then auto-renew the SSL inside Staq. To do so, go to the site&#8217;s Staq Panel, followed by\u00a0<strong>SSL<\/strong>. Then click <strong>Renew Free Certificate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Then, enable proxy again inside Cloudflare.<\/p>\n<h3>Custom SSL Certificate<\/h3>\n<p>The alternative method is managing your own SSL certificates.
