Migrating a site to Staq had doubled our client's online sales
What made you move to Staq?
We’ve always found the migration process very strenuous depending on which provider we’ve had to work within, with too many different variations per hosting provider and with different IT services in charge of each one, we found that the Staq system was insanely more intuitive, fast and reliable to migrated, and allowed us to manage everything from one place without the need for back and forth with different hosting or IT service providers.
What was the challenge and frustrations you went through internally inside the business?
We have historically had websites all over the place, depending on the clients preference, which caused a lot of inconsistencies across services and across user experience. There were things that were entirely out of our control that would end up negaitvely effecting us, such as a preferred hosting provider of the clients being patchy, slow and unreliable. As well as going between different support emails for different platforms as well. We would often times be at the whim of the hosting or IT service providers own timeframes to launch, have DNS updates etc. which often times also negatively impacted our own lauch process. Being able to self manage and have full control over the hosting, and knowing it’s extremely fast and reliable, made a huge difference for us.
What feature do you love in Staq?
We love how easy it is to migrate any WordPress website over to Staq, just a few clicks even, and the client billing aspect has always been very smooth as well. We love the frequent backups, one click CDN set up, and amazing optimisations that Staq has to offer. Staq takes any of our websites and optimises it to perfection now right off the bat, which incredibly increases the value of the website to the clients themselves.
What client success stories do you have?
We have had some website maintenance clients who had websites sitting on old servers taking over 12 seconds to load. We advised that it was where the website was hosted, and just by moving over to Staq they got their load time down below 2 seconds which incredibly increased their business from the website. Their SEO performance has also massively increased since moving over, with the Google Page Speed improvements, which in turn has doubled their online sales revenue.
Has the development and deployment of your WordPress builds improved because of Staq?
The deployment in particular is perfect for us, as it’s stress free and could be done by anyone of varying skills in our office without any hassle. Having a staging website where we can also show the website to clients ahead of launch as well makes for a much faster process for launch.
