How many CPUs and RAM is applied?

- Server: A baseline of 4 vCPUs, burstable as needed, 16 GB of RAM, and access to an elastic file system (EBS) for additional memory if needed beyond 16 GB.
- Database: A baseline of 4 vCPUs and 16 GB RAM via our MariaDB RDS instances.
- Storage: A baseline of 3,000 IOPS using GP3 SSDs via AWS EBS.

While a WordPress site check may show a baseline of 256MB of memory, in reality, each site taps into a vast pool of resources across AWS services such as EBS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, and Cloudflare. This means the true capacity extends far beyond what's displayed, with resources automatically scaling as needed to meet demand.
Prior to sites being migrated to Staq, we found that sites that once used 512MB memory will suffice with only 256MB memory on Staq, given how disburse the resources are pooling from.
Case Study: Take, for instance, a robust WooCommerce site we migrated to Staq. Originally, it was on a dedicated server, utilizing 6 CPUs and 10GB of memory, and yet it was hitting 100% of its resource limits. Absolutely. Staq provides both development and staging environments. The workflow is this. For each new site, whether it is a new or migrated site defaults to being a development site. All development sites are free up to 90 days and you only pay for when you take the development site live to production or if you subscription exceeds 90 days; whatever comes first.
Each environment is entitled to a free staging site. If you need to spin up more than 1x staging site, then additional fees apply.
