Careers
We’re a fast-growing company helping digital agencies simplify operations, save time, and scale with confidence. Join a team where your work directly shapes both our product and the way agencies run their businesses.
open positionsThis isn't a role for someone who needs a script. We're looking for someone who has lived the agency experience — who knows the 2am panic when a plugin update takes a site down, the spreadsheet of tool subscriptions that never seems to shrink, the time eaten by manual updates and hosting support tickets. You've felt the problem we solve. Now you sell the solution. You'll own the full sales cycle: from finding the right agencies to closing the deal and handing them to the team for migration.
What you'll do
- Proactively identify and reach out to digital agencies that manage WordPress sites at scale (20–700+ sites)
- Run discovery calls to understand an agency's current hosting, tools, pain points, and growth goals
- Conduct product demos that connect Staq's features directly to the prospect's specific workflow and problems
- Guide prospects through the trial process — help them get a site live on Staq and experience the difference firsthand
- Own the deal from first contact to signed agreement and handoff to the migration team
- Identify patterns in objections and lost deals to sharpen messaging and product positioning
- Work closely with the founders on go-to-market strategy, channel development, and sales tooling
What we're looking for
- Agency background — you've worked at or run a digital/web agency, or sold to agencies extensively
- WordPress fluency — you've built WordPress sites for clients and you know the maintenance reality: updates, plugins, staging, migrations, hosting drama
- You understand the business side of an agency: care plans, tool costs, team time, and the margin pressure that comes from operational inefficiency
- Proven track record in B2B SaaS or technical sales — you can run a full cycle from cold outreach to close
- Excellent on a call — you listen more than you talk, and you know how to connect a product to a real, specific pain
- Self-directed — you don't need someone to fill your pipeline. You know how to find the right people and start the right conversations
- Bonus: existing network of agency owners, WordPress professionals, or digital marketing communities
You'll be the first contact for our agency partners when something isn't working. That means understanding WordPress deeply, knowing your way around a server environment, and being someone agencies genuinely trust when things go sideways. Our support isn't a ticket queue — it's a real partnership. Agencies rely on us because we actually know what we're talking about.
What you'll do
- Handle inbound support requests from digital agencies via chat and email — diagnosing and resolving WordPress and hosting issues
- Troubleshoot plugin conflicts, staging issues, DNS propagation, SSL errors, caching problems, and performance anomalies
- Guide agencies through migrations, GoLive workflows, Cloudflare setup, and platform onboarding
- Escalate complex infrastructure issues to the engineering team with clear, well-documented context
- Identify recurring issues and surface them as product feedback or documentation opportunities
- Build and maintain support documentation that reduces repeat tickets
What we're looking for
- Strong WordPress knowledge — plugins, themes, updates, staging, WooCommerce, multisite
- Solid server fundamentals — NGINX, PHP, MySQL/MariaDB, DNS, SSL, caching concepts
- Familiarity with hosting environments (managed WordPress, cPanel, or AWS-based setups)
- Excellent written communication — clear, calm, and empathetic even when things are on fire
- Experience supporting technical users or agency clients (not just end-consumers)
- Comfortable working asynchronously across timezones
- Bonus: experience with Cloudflare, Redis, CDN configuration, or performance auditing
