SendGrid Integration and Custom SMTP setup

We are excited to introduce two new powerful enhancements to SMTP functionality within Staq. These updates simplify the process of email integration, providing seamless solutions for both SendGrid and Custom SMTP setups. Here’s what’s new:

SendGrid Integration

With our new SendGrid integration, taking a website live has never been easier! This feature automates Sender Authentication, DNS entries, and automatic configuration of the WP Mail SMTP plugin, saving you time and effort.

Here’s how it works:

1. Insert your SendGrid API key into Staq.
2. When taking a website live or configuring SMTP, simply select SendGrid, and Staq will handle the rest:
   • Automatically create the “Sender Authentication” in SendGrid.
   • If you’re using Staq DNS or have a Cloudflare integration connected, Staq will automatically add the 3x SendGrid CNAME records to your DNS.
   • Staq will automatically configure the WP Mail SMTP plugin for you.

For users with DNS providers outside of Staq or Cloudflare, we generate the required records for you to easily copy and paste into your DNS.

This integration is perfect for streamlining your workflow and ensuring everything is set up smoothly with minimal effort.

Custom SMTP Setup

Now, you can personalize the email experience for your clients by setting up custom SMTP within Staq. Instead of sending Client PDF Reports and invoices from a wpstaq.com email address, you can send them directly from your own domain using your SMTP credentials.

This enhancement not only hides wpstaq.com from your client communications but also strengthens our commitment to expanding our white-label features for our digital agency partners.
