How to setup Client PDF Reports
Offering care plan services or looking to enhance your hosting packages with value-added insights? Staq’s Client PDF Reports feature is the perfect tool to showcase the ongoing maintenance, performance, and care you deliver for your clients’ WordPress sites. These reports provide a clear, tangible summary your clients will appreciate — and help reinforce the value of your services.
Accessing the Report Settings
Start by navigating to Reports > Client Reports in your Staq dashboard:

Enable or Disable Monthly Reports
Click the Settings button in the top-right corner. By default, Enable Monthly Reports is set to Disabled. Use the dropdown to select Enabled, then click Save Settings:

Next, choose the days (1–3) of the month when reports should be sent out:

If there are pages you’d like excluded from reports globally, you can add them under Pages to Exclude from Reports:

Branding Your Reports
Under the Styles subtab, set your brand’s visual identity:
- Primary color
- Secondary color
- Font color
- Font family: Montserrat, Poppins, or Roboto

Custom Letter Content
Under the Letter Content tab, you can personalize messaging that appears in the PDF:
- Opening message – shown on page 2
- Closing message – shown on the final page

Connect Google Analytics
Want traffic stats included in your client reports? Go to Global Settings > Google Analytics to connect a GA4 property. You can add multiple accounts if needed:

Click Connect Account and follow the Google prompt to authorize WPStaq:

To connect a specific site, go to its Staq Panel > Google Analytics under Integrations. Click Connect Google Analytics and select the appropriate GA4 property:

Create a Test Report Preview
To generate a sample report, click Create Preview:

Select a production (live) website and a reporting date range (up to 30 days):

Click Preview to download and review the PDF layout and data:

Add Clients to Your Report List
Click Client List (top right), then Add Client:

From the popup:
- Website: Select which site the report relates to
- Client Name: Identify the customer
- Client Emails: Add one or more recipients
Emails will be sent automatically based on the monthly schedule you configured earlier.

Send Reports from Your Own Domain (SMTP)
By default, Staq sends PDF reports from @wpstaq.com. To personalize this, connect your own SMTP under Clients > Custom SMTP:

Customize the Email Template
To customize the email that accompanies your client report, go to Clients > Email Templates:

Look for the Your monthly website report is now available template and click Edit:
