Increasing Server Memory

On this page

Raise request memory for one website on Staq Panel → Server → PHP Config.

    Raise request memory

    1. Open the website in Staq Panel.
    2. Click Server.
    3. Click PHP Config.
    4. Stay on PHP Settings.
    5. Open Request memory limit and pick a size.
    6. Click Save Changes.

The default is 256 MB. A size above the default asks you to continue, because it can add a charge on your plan.

Request memory limit menu on PHP Config

PHP workers are a separate setting on the PHP Workers tab. See how to increase PHP workers.

PHP version is on the same page. See how to change the PHP version.

    FAQ

Should I set WP_MEMORY_LIMIT in WP Config?

No. Use Request memory limit on this page. See how to edit the wp-config.php file for other constants.

When do I need a dedicated cloud?

When the site needs more than these PHP Config limits or more than 20 PHP Workers, open a support ticket and the team can set up a dedicated cloud environment.

    Need some help?

Open a support ticket if the control is not in Staq, or the change does not save.
