How to add/update client’s credit card

    Introduction

    Updating your client’s credit card details for current and future payments on Staq is a straightforward process. This guide will walk you through the steps to add or update credit card information securely.

    Steps to Update Credit Card Details

    1. Sign in to your Staq account using your credentials.
    2. Click Clients > Client List, followed by finding the client.
    3. Once you’ve identified the client, click the menu and click Credit Cards.
    4. From this section, you can either:
      • Edit an existing card by selecting it and making the necessary changes.
      • Click Add New Card to input new credit card details.

    Important Information

    Please note that Staq does not store your client’s full credit card information on our system. We only retain the last four digits of the card along with the expiry date.

    The complete credit card details are securely assigned to your client’s profile within your Stripe account and are not stored elsewhere.

    By following these steps, you can efficiently manage your client’s credit card information while ensuring their data remains secure.
