How to whitelist an IP address

    You can whitelist trusted services on your WordPress site hosted with Staq in two main ways:

    • By adding specific IP addresses or IP ranges
    • By allowing specific User Agents

    Whitelist an IP Address or Range

    To whitelist an individual IP address or a range of IPs:

    1. Log in to the WordPress site hosted on Staq.
    2. Click Staq Hosting in the left-hand menu.
    3. Click Firewall.
    4. Click Advanced.
    5. In the Whitelisted IPs field, enter the IP addresses you want to allow — one per line.

    Whitelist a User Agent

    To allow requests from a specific user agent:

    1. Log in to the WordPress site hosted on Staq.
    2. Click Staq Hosting.
    3. Click Firewall.
    4. Click Advanced.
    5. In the Whitelisted User Agents field, enter the user agent string — one per line.

    Unblock & Whitelist a Banned IP

    If an IP address has been blocked, you can unblock and whitelist it via the Staq Panel:

    1. Log in to your Staq Panel.
    2. Navigate to the specific site and click Firewall.

    Under the Website Firewall tab, locate the blocked IP. Click Remove & Whitelist to allow future access from that IP address.
