As long as the website is cached inside AWS CloudFront, it’ll serve that page or the website from the CDN without touching the server. Technically, the server could be down and it’ll still serve the cached version of the site.

If a server request is needed but the site is served from AWS CloudFront, Staq can detect this and it’ll reroute the request back to the origin server.
