After either migrating a website or configuring the CDN on Staq, you may find that images found inside the Slider Revolution may not appear. The reason being, Slider Revolution’s URL’s of how it stores images in the database isn’t as common compared to other entries in the database.

To top it off, Slider Revolution requires you to purchase a valid licence to even use their Search/Replace add-on function.

With Staq, we have adopted a solution to get around this.

    Database

In the database, in the image example below, it shows inside the database table *_revslider_slides, that the URL of the image has both back and forward slashes “/”:

    Source Code

Go to the website in Google Chrome and go to Inspect Element.

Where the Slider Revolution images are supposed to appear, click the element selector and work through the div to find the image URLs as per the GIF video below:

Once you identify the image URL, copy it.

    Search and replace in database

In Staq Panel of the website in question, click Search & Replace:

Inside Search & Replace, paste the URL under Old and modify the URL as desired under New.

Please ensure that Replace same values with backslashes is checked.

    Click Search & Replace:
