Can I migrate a site to Staq using a third-party plugin?

On this page

Although we do recommend using our simple Staq Migrator plugin, yes, you can use any migration/backup plugin like Updraft or All-In-One WP Migration or any other plugins to migrate a site to Staq.

Once the site has fully imported and restored, just make sure you run a Database Search & Replace to replace the old URL with the dev URL used in Staq.

To do this, we recommend that you follow this search and replace guide for WordPress by completing the search and replace function inside the Staq interface as you may see a 403 error due to mis-match in the URL.

    License for All-In-One WP Migration

If you require a license to extract the backup of an .wpress zip file from All-In-One WP Migraiton plugin, please reach out to our support team and they can install the plugin for you. This website must be hosted on Staq.
