How to disable lazyload

On this page

If you’re using Staq Cache, below are the steps on how to disable lazy load.

    Lazyload Settings

Log into your Staq-hosted WordPress website and follow these steps:

    • Click on Staq Hosting > Page Cache. For Staq to interfere with lazy load, the Enable Optimizer for website toggle must be enabled. Staq Cache on its own will not enable lazy load. If only Enable caching for website is enabled but Enable Optimizer for website is disabled, then a third-party plugin is likely handling the lazy load.

    Lazyload Options

    Disable Lazyload Completely

    • Click the toggle for Lazyload images & videos to turn it off.

Exclude Certain Images from Being Lazyloaded

    • If you wish to keep lazy load enabled, you can enter the URL of images to exclude from lazy loading. It’s good practice to remove the file extension (e.g., .png, .jpg) since images may be converted into WebP and served via that extension.

    WordPress Native Lazyload Feature

Please note that under Extra Options, Staq automatically disables the native lazy loading feature provided by WordPress.

By following these steps, you can effectively manage lazy loading on your Staq-hosted website. If you have any further questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out to our support team.
