Client Transfer

On this page

Staq can move a website to another Staq account. The destination account has to already exist. DNS does not need to change.

Ask Support to move the site

    1. Open a support ticket.
    2. Name the website.
    3. Name the destination Staq account, the login or the account name.
    4. Confirm that account is already registered.
    5. Leave DNS as it is. Support can complete the move without a DNS change.

    FAQ

Can I start this from Users?

No. There is no transfer control in Staq Panel. Support runs the move.

    Will the live domain break?

No. The move keeps the current Staq DNS or A record if you’re using a third-party DNS service.

    Need some help?

Open a support ticket with the website and the destination account to start the transfer.
