Assign SendGrid to a Website
Using the GoLive Process
- When taking a website live via the GoLive process, you’ll find the SMTP process in Step 5.
- If using Staq DNS or Cloudflare integration, Staq will automatically enter the DNS records. If not, you will need to manually add the records if you select the Third Party method:

- In Step 5, when you click Add Domain, it will authenticate the primary domain in Step 2 inside SendGrid:

If Selecting Third Party
- In Step 1, if you selected Third Party, manually enter the DNS entries by clicking View DNS Records:

- Copy the host and value into your DNS service. Wait at least 1 minute, then click Verify DNS Records:

Verification
- After SendGrid confirms verification, you will see a green label. Check both your DNS provider and SendGrid for the created entries.
- You can now set the from email and from name. The “From Email” is the address that will appear for emails sent after a contact form submission. It does not need to be a valid email, as SendGrid authenticates the domain.

Apply SMTP from Staq Panel
To apply SendGrid from the Staq Panel, under Integrations and click WP Mail SMTP. Follow the prompts to complete the setup:

Enhancing SendGrid Security – Enable IP Access Management
