On this page

Managing access to your WordPress site is crucial for maintaining security and performance. Staq Firewall provides tools to ban IP addresses that pose a threat or engage in malicious activity. This guide will walk you through the steps to identify, ban, and manage IP addresses using the Staq Firewall.

    Review Logs

Log into your WordPress site hosted on Staq and click Staq Hosting > Firewall.

    Access Log

If you spot an IP address in the list that you want to block, click the cross button to ban it:

You will then be prompted to confirm the ban:

    Generate Report

You can generate a report based on all usage for a particular date range and time. This report provides a comprehensive view of total requests. If you wish to ban an IP address from the report, click on the IP address. A new window will open; scroll down to the bottom and click Ban IP.

    Ban a Specific IP Address

If you know the specific IP address you wish to ban, click on WHOIS IP, enter the IP address, and search for it. Then, click Ban IP.
