How to move the DNS across to Staq when the site is already hosted on Staq

    Below are instructions on how to move the DNS from a 3rd Party DNS solution across to Staq on an existing site that’s already hosted on Staq.

     

    Navigate to “DNS Zone” via Staq Panel

     

    Navigate to the Staq Panel of the website in question by clicking on the website ID from the Websites Table.

     


    Once viewing the Staq Panel, click ‘DNS Zones’ under Domains.

     

    Create New DNS Zone

     

    Click Create New DNS Zone:

    Enter the domain in the field highlighted below and click Manage DNS Records.

     

    Enter the domain in the field highlighted below and click Manage DNS Records.

     

    You’ll see Staq automatically import the DNS Records, as seen highlighted below. 


    *PLEASE CHECK YOUR EXISTING RECORDS.

     

    Click ‘Create DNS Zone’ button.

     

     

     

    Change Nameservers in Domain Provider

     

    Point your domain within your Domain provider’s dashboard to Staq’s (4) Nameservers, highlighted below.

    If you do not know who your domain provider is please use WHOIS lookup search to find out who your registrar is.
