How to view Plugin/Theme Update History
Keeping track of plugin and theme updates is crucial for maintaining the security and functionality of your WordPress websites. Staq provides convenient tools for monitoring update history across your sites. Here’s how you can view the update history:
Global Report
To get an overview of all update activities across your sites, follow these steps:
Navigate to Reports:
Go to the Staq dashboard and click on Reports > Package Updates History
In this screen, you’ll see a list of all recent updates.
When a plugin/theme fails to update
If you wish to see all your entire sites or filter to a particular site in order to see which plugins have failed to update, click Reports > Package Updates History and then click the red button, Failed Only. In the table will provide reasons:
Who made the plugin/theme update or install
In the case of a plugin being updated or installed, in this same screen, under the Action column, it will also tell you:
- the WordPress username who installed this plugin
- the WordPress username who updated the plugin
- if WPStaq Auto-Updater updated the plugin
Specific Website Update History
Below is to view how plugin updates went inside the Staq Panel of a particular website.
You can view all historical update information by going to the Plugins page —> Plugin and click the drop down menu and click Update History:
It will then provide a complete history of all historical updates:
