How to regenerate Media Library thumbnails in WordPress

On this page

    Question

How can I regenerate thumbnail images inside my WordPress website?

    Answer

    The process are as follows:

    1. Log in to your WordPress admin panel.
    2. In the left-hand side menu, navigate to the Staq Hosting option.
    3. Inside Staq Hosting, find and click on Media.
    4. On the Media page, you’ll see an option labeled Reoptimize. Click on the Reoptimize button.

Once you’ve clicked on ‘Reoptimize’, the system will begin regenerating all your media library thumbnails. This process includes all standard image files (such as png, jpg, etc.) as well as WebP images.

Please note that the time it takes to complete the regeneration process will depend on the size of your media library so please be patient.
